A Teacher from China

The story of TC Health Care can be traced back to Mr. Zhu Wei William, who served as a teacher with the World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies (WFAS) from 2010 to 2019.

With years of experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and acupuncture, Mr. Zhu travelled to Nigeria, where he established a small training institute known as Hai Zhi Sheng Institute.

It was there that a young and passionate student, Janefrances, began her journey.

Janefrances was not simply interested in learning techniques. She developed a deep passion for holistic healing, natural medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the idea of treating the whole person rather than focusing only on symptoms.

As her training progressed, she spent years learning and working alongside Mr. Zhu. Those years became the foundation of what would eventually become TC Health Care.

From Student to Practitioner

Driven by a desire to deepen her knowledge, Janefrances continued her professional development beyond Nigeria.

In 2022, she travelled to Lome, Togo where she work along side with Dr. Tony T. Liang for a year.

The experience exposed her to a broader professional environment and strengthened her determination to bring quality natural and Traditional Chinese Medicine practices to Africa.

After returning, she continued her work in Cameroon, where her vision gradually began taking shape.

In 2024, she participated in a three-month training program in Traditional Chinese Medicine and modern health practices, receiving certification from Dr. Tony T. Liang of China and Dr. John Michael of the United States.

The First Clinic

On January 16, 2025, Janefrances took an important step forward.

Together with other doctors and healthcare professionals, she launched her first clinic in Douala, Cameroon.

She also participated in a one-month training on Tongue and Pulse Diagnosis from Jokelove Centre Medical Holistique.

What began as a modest initiative gradually attracted people who were looking for natural, holistic and complementary approaches to health and wellness.

The clinic became more than a place where people received services. It became a place where people could learn about their health, receive guidance, and explore different approaches to improving their wellbeing.

Expanding the Vision

The demand for holistic health services and education continued to grow.

By March 2026, the work had expanded beyond Douala to Bamenda and Buea, creating a wider presence for the initiative in Cameroon.

With the appropriate government licensing in place, Janefrances began looking beyond individual clinics.

The vision was no longer simply to operate health centres. It was to build a professional health organization that could bring together practitioners, educators, students and partners from different countries.

A Growing International Team

As the team continued to grow, professionals from China, Nigeria, Uganda and Cameroon came together around a common vision.

This collaboration led to the formal creation and registration of TC Health Care.

TC Health Care was established with a broader purpose: to connect Traditional Chinese Medicine, Naturopathic Medicine, holistic health education and modern health practices in a way that can serve communities while developing the next generation of natural health practitioners.

Partnerships Across Countries

TC Health Care believes that meaningful healthcare development cannot happen in isolation.

For this reason, the organization has continued to build relationships with institutions and professionals within Africa and internationally.

TC Health Care has entered into a long-term partnership with Meditorin in India and is also working toward new partnerships with:

• Green Center Academy of Natural Medicine, Nigeria
• National Association of Nigeria Traditional Medicine
• Jokelove Centre Medical Holistique, Cameroon

These relationships reflect TC Health Care's commitment to creating a wider professional network through which knowledge, training and healthcare experiences can be shared.

Educating the Next Generation

Having experienced the importance of proper training firsthand, Janefrances and her team decided that the knowledge gained through years of learning and practice should not remain with a small group of professionals.

It should be shared.

This led to the introduction of the TC Health Care Scholarship Certificate Program in Naturopathic Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine.

The scholarship is designed to give passionate individuals an opportunity to develop their knowledge in Naturopathic Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine and holistic health practices, combining theoretical learning with practical exposure.

The goal is not simply to award certificates. It is to educate, empower and develop responsible practitioners who can contribute to the future of natural and holistic healthcare.
